Open from 8am and close when they are sold out, so go early to avoid disappointment.
Andronico’s (now a Safeway) on IrvingSt. sells their bread. Don't know if they still carry it. Also, Giovanni Specialties Store on Union st uses Liguira focaccia to make their Italian sandwiches
To my knowledge, no. Try calling them.
No. It's a very tiny 4 generation bakery.
Yes
They have them occasionally. But they do not bake them.
Yes
We're talking about Liguria Bakery on Stockton St.? No delivery that I know of.
I believe it's 8am
Awesome focaccia!! The new guy they hired is awesome. Well worth the money and I cannot wait to come back!
Any chance you get to go here - take it!I've never had bread like it! Absolutely gorgeous and I'd love it if they took online orders and posted the bread, it really is that good! The site is also about a ten minute walk from pier 39, where water is 4 dollars a bottle - here, it's a dollar and ice cold!Really nice staff and an excellent product!
If you want to taste fresh bread, it's a definitely visit place
I have been going here for Almost 50 years! Best Focaccia I have Ever Eaten!
This bakery is a little gem with the best varieties of focaccia bread.
The Best Focaccia bread in San Francisco...Period.
Almond croissant!!! The hype is REAL! So good. It was love at first bite. Love how they don't put slivers of almonds on top. Love how the inside is jam packed with a nice sweet almond paste.
Great focaccia. Lots of tasty flavors. Only reason it doesn't get higher than 3 stars is because they have production problems which are preventing them from keeping up with demand. If you want to get one of the good flavors you have to show up by 8am on a week day.
The highlight of any week is waking up early to go to Liguria. The staff is very friendly, but they sell out before noon. Recently they've started selling pizza dough and rustic bread, which has been a delight! Our picks are the rosemary and the green onion. If you ask they'll also slice the focaccia up for you so you can eat it while walking around.
2 hours in line in Saturday morning around 9am before Christmas. Pizza and Jalapeno Cheese were great. Rosemary garlic was good. $5.5 each. Approx 10" x 7.5" a piece. Great but not worth the ridiculously long wait. Will be back on weekdays hoping the cue is less than 30 mins.
We moved to San Francisco from Hong Kong in '75 and it's just as scrumptious as it was back then. Go early! Once they sell out, they close up for the day!
Went today at 12:30 and they were closed. It would be half decent of them to update their working hours correctly.
Simply phenomenal focaccia. It was quite crowded with folk and has no seating inside.
My family has been getting focaccia here since my grandfather was a child, and it's still the best around. Cash only, everything is delicious.
Amazing focaccia. Get the pizza version!
Nice location to meet with family. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. This place has a cool feel to it. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.
My wife is going to love you guys. Great focaccia!
Best focaccia in San Francisco. Love this gem.
Best Croissants that I ever had!!! The almond croissants are so flaky, not too sweet, and the best when it's just out of the oven. Matter of fact, all of the pastries here are all flaky, buttery, and yummylicious! I spent 20 bucks for 4 pastries, yeah, its a bit on the pricey side but it's totally worth it .
I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. It has a great feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.
Mmmmmm foccacia bread so good. Bought pizza, mushroom and jalapeno. Parking is a little difficult, recommend side kick to drop off , order\ pickup. Meter maids on their beat at 0645 AM. Chowing down now for breakfast and coffee... mmmmmm.
The best foccacia and now the only reason I pull out cash before travelling to San Francisco.
Excellent, Best North Beach focaccia, Mushroom, Garlic, Garlic with Rosemary, Raisin, Pizza, and more, currently $6-$7 a square roughly 3 x 5 inch.
This is my favorite place to get focaccia bread .this bread is the real deal you won’t get better anywhere lots of varieties at great prices Remember to get there early before they run out you won’t be disappointed . Located in north beach SF.absolutely the best in the bay area
Used to love them when I was at college on the east coast but maybe my tastes have changed. The frosting was way too buttery and weirdly not sweet at all. The orange date cupcake was dry and tasteless. Like an old muffin. Still love their red velvet and the cute interiors but not worth the money.
This Bakery definitely has the best focaccia bread in San Francisco and probably California if you ever go there get the pizza and the onion bread and with a little salami and provolone excellent
Cupcakes here are ABSOLUTELY delicious! Just the perfect amount of sweetness without going overboard. The young lady that helped me was very pleasant, once they realized I had not been helped.
Closed. 5 stars when it's open... Still five when you drive across and they're sold out and closed early... Sad.
Always the best foccacia hands down. Sells out early
I had the Carmel cheesecake! Oh my goodness such deliciousness. I wish I could eat a slice everyday and stay skinny or rather become skinny. Anywho the staff was friendly and I can't wait to try the Carmel cake it looked so yummy!!!
Best focaccia in the world!!! Get there early they sell out quickly!!! Put it on your bucket list to at least try once!!!
The cinnamon raisin and the pizza focaccia are my favorites. Arrive early because they sell out but warm fresh out of the ovens they are irresistible.
Great place serving awesome foccacia...been here for over 100 years so they got their 1 thing right!
Crazy good focaccia from an original Italian family in San Francisco, they sell out so be sure to go early
I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Owner Josephine and her family are always there on business days prepping focaccia for the day. Some of you may say customer service is blah blah blah. Then you know what? You're the one that needs a reality check. It's all about how you carry yourself. Be a *sshole and you'll get *sshole treatment. Now go and get a slab of focaccia, I'll meet you at Washington Square Park.
This place only sells only one thing... Focaccia, and it is to go only. (A traditional Italian Bread made at this location for 100+ years) I am a big fan of the Original! But the onion is good too.
Best cake in San Francisco. The only better option is in my grandma's kitchen lol. I come all the way from basically oak Park for this cake. Oh and try 5 loaves down the street. Amazing food!
Great selection of bake goods. Friendly service. Their products are good. I'm a cake and banana pudding connoisseur so that's why I gave them 3 stars and not 5! Your taste buds are suppose to scream when your mouth receives an excellent bite of dessert.
While I am a San Francisco native, you too can almost become one by stopping by and picking up your favorite focaccia pie...just get there early!
This place only sells one thing, Focaccia, and boy they're tasty. The garlic and pizza are our favorites. The onion, raisins, and olives are good too. I've kept them for over a week in the freezer and still taste good. Just make sure that they're not over toasted. And remember to bring cash.
Only place to get genuine genovese focaccia. They only make so much and once all sold, the shop closes
Amazing focaccia! Highly highly recommended. You HAVE to get there early if you want options, as they often sell out before closing time is even near.My favorite is the mushroom one!
I have been here, every time I come to San Francisco. Love the ambience of the neighborhood, the flavor of the foccacia and the family owned spirit and pride in the product. Great to get a slice wrapped in paper and sit in the park to enjoy. If you get the pizza slice, bring your own napkins to eat in the park.
Had eaten focaccia in the past, but this place. Damn. I fell in love with focaccia after one taste of this place. After having been through over 100 times, I'm still taken aback with every bite.Legendary
Best focaccia. I know this is heresy: better than examples tried in the motherland!
This family-owned bakery makes traditional focaccia. I've had focaccia other bakeries and I like their's the best. They're so reasonably priced for a nice piece of focaccia. you can also ask for them to cut the focaccia which I did because I was giving some to my friend to try. My favorite ones are the olive, garlic, and jalapeno cheese. When I bring him home I warm up the bread in the toaster oven.it keeps well for several days without getting stale or dry. Just remember to store them in an airtight container.
Amazing, fresh made focaccia bread! The line can get a bit long but it is 100% worth the wait. They have many different types/toppings. Picture includes rosemary, jalapeno+cheddar, pesto, and onion. It is delicious and I plan on returning next time I am visiting the city! Liguria bakery, never change what you are doing! Very delicious and worth the walk and wait. Dont arrive too late or you will miss the variety of choices or miss them completely as they close early.
Best focaccia bread in town.
I was disappointed to learn that they don’t take credit/debit cards or apple pay. I was visiting from Texas and didn’t even get to try it :(
